But then I couldn’t find any so we end up having our breakfast here. The food here is just so so but the kolo mee is still not bad. Then we head to the Filipino Market nearby. Here are some of the shots over there.</p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCR3Up1RTI/AAAAAAAABxo/cinYtnvCx8k/s1600-h/PC0905614.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="PC090561" border="0" alt="PC090561" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCR4p-hAqI/AAAAAAAABxs/nHMmcSKjG9U/PC090561_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="377" height="284"></a></p> <a name='more'></a> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCR6QoNCbI/AAAAAAAABxw/Rd4SoGob8B8/s1600-h/PC0905554.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="PC090555" border="0" alt="PC090555" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCR7JfxorI/AAAAAAAABx0/MKG8YZL1jFE/PC090555_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="378" height="284"></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCR-WfE6YI/AAAAAAAABx4/WI61ush6D3Q/s1600-h/PC0905624.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="PC090562" border="0" alt="PC090562" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCR_CpHaoI/AAAAAAAABx8/vthm07j7D74/PC090562_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="378" height="284"></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSCR1aiSI/AAAAAAAAByE/eHuXWWwS5go/s1600-h/DSC_32284.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC_3228" border="0" alt="DSC_3228" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSDGDvd_I/AAAAAAAAByI/c5fj3nyqaUU/DSC_3228_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="380" height="256"></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSFK7MrcI/AAAAAAAAByM/nZxcqUVnv7E/s1600-h/DSC_32514.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC_3251" border="0" alt="DSC_3251" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSGFKNQgI/AAAAAAAAByQ/3-CQSKdWM6s/DSC_3251_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="379" height="256"></a></p> <p>Next, we head to Mari-Mari Cultural Village. Honestly speaking, some of us are quite sceptical whether is it worth paying RM100 per person for a trip towards there including transportation. However, we found out that the entrance fee was actually RM75 per person and we get to use the transport whole day. So the RM100 is actually quite well spent in a way.</p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSJolxnyI/AAAAAAAAByU/fdS4g59GLlc/s1600-h/DSC_32664.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC_3266" border="0" alt="DSC_3266" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSKrpmpMI/AAAAAAAAByY/M3oVQtTpCJw/DSC_3266_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="374" height="252"></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSMjPxjLI/AAAAAAAAByc/6hz1RcoV7Lg/s1600-h/DSC_33094.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC_3309" border="0" alt="DSC_3309" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSNq9GJ2I/AAAAAAAAByg/DqX4yrHR7Cw/DSC_3309_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="376" height="254"></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSRnB2v0I/AAAAAAAAByk/75ZTdXQYJB4/s1600-h/DSC_33265.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC_3326" border="0" alt="DSC_3326" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSSuLM3vI/AAAAAAAAByo/mxyzbgjnwFY/DSC_3326_thumb2.jpg?imgmax=800" width="376" height="254"></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSThl9rSI/AAAAAAAABys/QNKvItSZIRo/s1600-h/DSC_33324.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC_3332" border="0" alt="DSC_3332" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSUm3d49I/AAAAAAAAByw/CVqPm4I8UYk/DSC_3332_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="241" height="357"></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSX8Tuo8I/AAAAAAAABy0/XLFl1Ypg4xk/s1600-h/DSC_33334.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC_3333" border="0" alt="DSC_3333" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCSZDhczGI/AAAAAAAABy4/kMicu4Yjm28/DSC_3333_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="373" height="252"></a></p> <p>Upon entering this Mari-Mari Cultural Village, I was (forced) elected to be the chief of the pack. It’s some sort of their way of saying hello I was informed. My aunt was shocked till the point she thought everything was real. Hey, not meant to be rude, but I believe we don’t pay RM100 to get kicked out just by entering there. I actually wanted to buy this phone before getting my hands on my current Garmin-Asus A50. At the price of only RM699, it’s normal to have some doubts whether how well can this Smartphone fares off as a low-end smartphone. </p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNPe9VdGI/AAAAAAAABwI/Z_Z1lp0xelw/s1600-h/Untitled-1%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="Untitled-1" border="0" alt="Untitled-1" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNQoxtkkI/AAAAAAAABwM/L6YxW1MQ3kY/Untitled-1_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="423" height="280"></a></p> <p align="center"><font size="2">Pic from </font><a href="http://my.samsungmobile.com/mobile-phones/samsung-galaxy5"><font size="2">http://my.samsungmobile.com/mobile-phones/samsung-galaxy5</font></a></p> <p>And in this 1 week, I get to fully experience this phone. There’s only one thing in mind when i first got my hands on this device, <font color="#ff0000">“Wah, so small one.”</font></p> <a name='more'></a> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNR3sxM-I/AAAAAAAABwQ/7hwNKkAqrSA/s1600-h/2010-12-31%2014.57.27%5B6%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2010-12-31 14.57.27" border="0" alt="2010-12-31 14.57.27" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNTDX5K5I/AAAAAAAABwU/h7yuHayOfJs/2010-12-31%2014.57.27_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p>With the price of only RM699, I naturally have a lower expectations of the phone such as the following:<br><font color="#0000ff">1. Slow accelerometer response<br>2. Low screen resolution<br>3. Screen too small for typing comfort<br>4. Lacking on functionality<br>5. Bad camera</font></p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNU0taCTI/AAAAAAAABwY/tn3z66z_ZB4/s1600-h/2010-12-31%2014.57.50%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2010-12-31 14.57.50" border="0" alt="2010-12-31 14.57.50" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNXGNQE8I/AAAAAAAABwc/zim93ap1KBw/2010-12-31%2014.57.50_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p>The first thing I test out on this phone is the accelerometer response. Surprisingly, it is quite responsive. I’m making this judgement based on comparison with a smartphone I previously owned which still might cost around RM1.8k to RM2k. That phone I used, had quite a slow accelerometer response and sometimes I had to wait several seconds to get the screen to align itself. While at times, it didn’t work at all. For this Samsung Galaxy 5, this is not much of an issue. Of course it might due to lag of installed apps but so is the smartphone that I compared with. I think Samsung did a fairly good job in that functionality which I think is the most important feature for a smartphone as small as Samsung Galaxy 5.</p> <p><em><font color="#ff0000" size="2">(I’m not going to reveal the smartphone that I compared with as I think should not tarnish the brand like that. Several hints are the phone is not my current A50, running on Windows Mobile 6.5 and is one of the leading smartphone brand in the market right now)</font></em></p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNYnfR6SI/AAAAAAAABwg/beC_FGFd7dc/s1600-h/2011-01-01%2012.19.54%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2011-01-01 12.19.54" border="0" alt="2011-01-01 12.19.54" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNZ_a83SI/AAAAAAAABwk/1MDqy6V_swE/2011-01-01%2012.19.54_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p>As for the low screen resolution, I guess this is to be expected for a price of only RM699. However, I think it is still ok and the colors are still very acceptable and nice. My judgement of its resolution are always blinded by the awesomeness of my dad’s Samsung Galaxy S AMOLED screen.</p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNbMSs9xI/AAAAAAAABwo/4olYTCkHDtM/s1600-h/2011-01-01%2012.19.31%5B9%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2011-01-01 12.19.31" border="0" alt="2011-01-01 12.19.31" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNctvtvTI/AAAAAAAABws/zKpqGEQF12Y/2011-01-01%2012.19.31_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p>As for the 2.8” screen, it is definitely too small for me for my typing comfort. I like my touch screen phone to be bigger. I guess this should appeal to people who want their phone to be small and elegant. it is not to my taste and I do have some problems typing on its QWERTY keypad. However, I love the Swype function in this phone. You can even choose to “write” on the full 2.8” screen itself. I’m not used to this way of typing but I think if you are used to it, this shouldn’t be a problem.</p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNeRb8FkI/AAAAAAAABww/oOKa3VOpMFA/s1600-h/2011-01-01%2012.20.37%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2011-01-01 12.20.37" border="0" alt="2011-01-01 12.20.37" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNfa6k_6I/AAAAAAAABw0/Gr00rTK6Sl0/2011-01-01%2012.20.37_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p align="center"><font size="2">Swype Function</font></p> <p>The camera quality is actually not bad in my opinion. Pretty cool if you ask me as I get an extra market to download from.</p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNrUi8zMI/AAAAAAAABxI/p9uUFfLSQ0Q/s1600-h/2010-12-31%2014.58.23%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2010-12-31 14.58.23" border="0" alt="2010-12-31 14.58.23" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNsnt-7hI/AAAAAAAABxM/SKGwp-WstvM/2010-12-31%2014.58.23_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNuntka0I/AAAAAAAABxQ/nAnRS3I27tU/s1600-h/2010-12-31%2014.58.40%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2010-12-31 14.58.40" border="0" alt="2010-12-31 14.58.40" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNvsOUxFI/AAAAAAAABxU/XK6G34ncgDE/2010-12-31%2014.58.40_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p>For those who are wondering, there are some apps on Samsung Apps that are not available on the Android Market and vice versa. So there you go. Definitely Twice the fun. It had all the basic social apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. So there wouldn’t be much complains from me.</p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNw-94_6I/AAAAAAAABxY/6chHTp5F-mM/s1600-h/2010-12-31%2014.58.00%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2010-12-31 14.58.00" border="0" alt="2010-12-31 14.58.00" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNyOJEJzI/AAAAAAAABxc/TuCDSM-BOyg/2010-12-31%2014.58.00_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p>The design is quite cool to me. I like the combination of glossy black and black meta texture on the phone. It’s quite cool and it doesn’t really look like a low-end phone at first glance. There are some bad points on it such as it can’t watch HD videos, camera quality can be better etc. However, being at the price of only RM699, I think it is quite a catch to buy this phone. I still think it is worth all the money.</p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCNzWc8KdI/AAAAAAAABxg/NrYZ4exK3E8/s1600-h/2010-12-31%2014.59.01%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2010-12-31 14.59.01" border="0" alt="2010-12-31 14.59.01" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TSCN0fuG5-I/AAAAAAAABxk/qjCjv0fg1AY/2010-12-31%2014.59.01_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p><font color="#0000ff">My rating out of 10 (based on the value of money) would be a 7. 7/10. Since I did a similar post like this, so I thought, why not make it a tradition right? So let me reflect on certain things including some resolutions of mine which are successful of course. Or like me, you had celebrated yours way earlier than 25th of December? Like some of you had known by reading this post by Merryn and this other post by Witch, we had a Secret Santa occasion going on and everyone had a blast. It is very worthy to blog and must i say, we definitely had a darn good time.</p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSwfBXMkrI/AAAAAAAABts/rKDxGWbebHo/s1600-h/163428_485341869472_661834472_5768349_2587882_n%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="163428_485341869472_661834472_5768349_2587882_n" border="0" alt="163428_485341869472_661834472_5768349_2587882_n" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSwf4VdhsI/AAAAAAAABt0/nD08qK707DQ/163428_485341869472_661834472_5768349_2587882_n_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="411" height="309"></a></p> <p>Blogging about how we had DOG FOOD and how good the food taste should be quite predictable by now. But I just blog out some things that they left out and as usual, some interesting facts I wanna point out from this gathering.</p> <a name='more'></a> <p>Much to my surprise, no on blogged about how “GENIUS” I was that day with <a href="http://www.submerryn.com">Merryn</a> even asking me is it my genius day today. <a href="http://foongpc.blogspot.com">Foong</a> was there the earliest and I was actually the second there. However, much to my horror, I forgot to bring both me and <a href="http://carol-kath.blogspot.com">Caroline</a>’s presents over there. It is a 20 minutes journey from my house so I had to rush back to get it and return to my place. I saw <a href="http://www.iamthewitch.com">Witch</a> and <a href="http://lionelong.com">Saucer</a> arriving before I left but I was too rush to honk and say hi. Caroline was left speechless by my act so I got nothing more to elaborate on that.</p> <p>So in the end, I took 1 hour to officially check in at that place. I saw everyone was already there. The gang includes <a href="http://grey-ang.com">Grey</a>, <a href="http://www.adrianleong.com">Adrian</a> and <a href="http://hausofkaka.blogspot.com">Erika</a> as well.To our amazement, I went back to retrieve my present and return, order my meal and finish it up and still <a href="http://quachee.blogspot.com">QuaChee</a> is nowhere to be seen!! </p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSwhPH-HeI/AAAAAAAABt8/TM0ymbnlC7M/s1600-h/163738_485691774472_661834472_5775296_4123566_n%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="163738_485691774472_661834472_5775296_4123566_n" border="0" alt="163738_485691774472_661834472_5775296_4123566_n" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSwh3SXz-I/AAAAAAAABuA/_CvqRwuEuNA/163738_485691774472_661834472_5775296_4123566_n_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="406" height="306"></a></p> <p>Actually initially when i reached there, there’s a vacant seat beside Foong and I thought wanted to sit there since that’s the only empty one available but Adrian and Foong both warn me and say “Sit if you wanna be stupid.” I cannot understand why at first and then when I saw Foong’s shirt, I rather go and take an empty chair and sit at the end of the table.</p> <p>I become some sort of Santa Claus here as I am the one who distribute the presents while talking to Caroline on the phone. And what did I got from my Secret Santa?</p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSwiyr4qgI/AAAAAAAABuM/xJJWebPOvuw/s1600-h/68175_184264401590660_160461327304301_708361_7266272_n%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="68175_184264401590660_160461327304301_708361_7266272_n" border="0" alt="68175_184264401590660_160461327304301_708361_7266272_n" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSwjV8NMnI/AAAAAAAABuQ/aKGTmHtWo_U/68175_184264401590660_160461327304301_708361_7266272_n_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="289" height="404"></a></p> <p align="center">A black book. There’s a reason for it.</p> <p>I felt the present and I guessed it is a book. I unwrapped my present and immediately saw some typography on the cover of the book with the words <strong><font color="#0000ff">“Words & Ideas Can Change The World”.</font></strong> I am not so sure whether did QuaChee read my blog before as I think the statement can describe my blog the best. I do tend to start this blog to make some changes and provoke the thoughts of my readers.</p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSwmp8q7EI/AAAAAAAABus/vgkazox3RPs/s1600-h/2010-12-24%2021.24.12%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2010-12-24 21.24.12" border="0" alt="2010-12-24 21.24.12" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSwnGdxUQI/AAAAAAAABuw/6AKnN6ZAJT0/2010-12-24%2021.24.12_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="392" height="295"></a></p> <p>But then what makes me guessed correctly, as the statement can be a very inspiring statement and who else but QuaChee who had a thing for good design and inspirational stuff. And he did told me that this book was gotten overseas which is definitely a plus point. Thanks a lot to my Secret Santa!</p> <p>Another thing that made me guessed correctly because when I declare my present is unwrapped, QuaChee stood up and said “You didn’t wrap? You made me wrap my present you know?”.</p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSz29itLMI/AAAAAAAABu8/kGZkBVz04i4/s1600-h/2010-12-24%2021.25.38%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2010-12-24 21.25.38" border="0" alt="2010-12-24 21.25.38" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSz32FogyI/AAAAAAAABvA/Cj7elS59pAM/2010-12-24%2021.25.38_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="288" height="382"></a></p> <p>It was overall an awesome gathering which I wanted to point out these several things. Who said that true friendship can’t blossom through the internet? Most of us had plans but we still make time to meet with each other. That’s what good friends will do.</p> <p>Even though Caroline could not join us this year, she still made her presence felt by talking to her Secret Santa, Saucer and her recipient, Erika on the phone. Let me point out something. How many of you ever had such bond with people that you met on regular basis and met each other before getting to know them?</p> <p>To me, this is a modern way of showing the Christmas spirit through the help of technology. Can Christmas get any better? That’s all for now. Merry Christmas to everyone and may you guys have a great celebration for this awesome day.</p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSz46melCI/AAAAAAAABvE/eQ7f3XCLu9k/s1600-h/2010-12-24%2021.25.49%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="2010-12-24 21.25.49" border="0" alt="2010-12-24 21.25.49" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TRSz5Uo29II/AAAAAAAABvI/WH6Mo3olZxo/2010-12-24%2021.25.49_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="284" height="377"></a></p> <p><font color="#0000ff">P/S: <em>I still thinking what to do with this present. Anyway, most of you knew that my family had a trip over to Kota Kinabalu last 8th of December 2010. I know most of you have some similar questions so I’m just gonna answer them here without you guys asking those questions.</p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKgmKV-SI/AAAAAAAABqc/Ba0kvCJzR9A/s1600-h/DSC_4053%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC_4053" border="0" alt="DSC_4053" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKhqJlthI/AAAAAAAABqg/7rxkDkFiV5w/DSC_4053_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="562" height="377"></a></p> <p>1. No, I didn’t propose the trip to there for my family. My mom the one wanted to go.<br>2. No, my mom wanted to go there not because Caroline is there.<br>3. No, the guy on the other end of the photo is not my elder brother but my YOUNGER brother.<br></p> <a name='more'></a> <p><br>So due to the major difference in ticket price, my family decide to fly to Labuan first before taking the ferry. We we went over there to do some sightseeing. So what is the MUST DO thing in Labuan?</p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKjKkIT0I/AAAAAAAABqk/L9kOCMroh74/s1600-h/DSC_3109%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC_3109" border="0" alt="DSC_3109" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKkDz8hMI/AAAAAAAABqo/oVxkQcfdoLY/DSC_3109_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="325" height="484"></a></p> <p>Shopping for cheap alcohol, chocolates and cigarettes of course.</p> <p>Then we stop by for lunch and honestly, the kolo mee here actually very nice. And I found out something. Ordering a bottle of beer is much worth it than iced coffee. I ordered my usual Kopi Ais which cost RM2 which shocked me because over in Selangor, the most expensive Kopi Ais I had is RM1.60. Bottle of beer here cost about RM5. </p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKl0d0SGI/AAAAAAAABqs/mQ_pDozFdsA/s1600-h/DSC_3127%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC_3127" border="0" alt="DSC_3127" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKmrJ9R8I/AAAAAAAABqw/ljcdM2BE9sI/DSC_3127_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="451" height="303"></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKoT9pDuI/AAAAAAAABq0/rhnD3O-Iwrk/s1600-h/PC080484%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="PC080484" border="0" alt="PC080484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKqHH0H2I/AAAAAAAABq4/rkxsVGnKcpQ/PC080484_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="452" height="340"></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKr5LwxpI/AAAAAAAABq8/RSofpdinOnc/s1600-h/PC080485%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="PC080485" border="0" alt="PC080485" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKs84H20I/AAAAAAAABrA/6eOd1KTzKX4/PC080485_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="452" height="340"></a></p> <p align="center">The Kolo Mee</p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKuczLJ0I/AAAAAAAABrE/_PWy9SzuCDU/s1600-h/PC080486%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="PC080486" border="0" alt="PC080486" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TQzKvLpXaCI/AAAAAAAABrI/rNngi5IdOY0/PC080486_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="452" height="340"></a></p> <p>Honestly, this is way TOO LITTLE. And also most of you have read the Hidden Message behind this poem from <a href="http://carol-kath.blogspot.com/2010/12/am-officially-21.html">Caroline’s blog post</a> right? If you don’t, I reveal it here.</p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TPj2CvivxRI/AAAAAAAABqU/6a8QMdvBg10/s1600-h/IMG_5620%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="IMG_5620" border="0" alt="IMG_5620" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TPj2DTZ88xI/AAAAAAAABqY/oRNkDyFurMc/IMG_5620_thumb.jpg?imgmax=800" width="244" height="184"></a></p> <p align="center"><em><b>I seek a gift, Cruising along the ocean breeze,<br>Love was a myth, At least until I saw you, miss,<br>Off we go adrift. And I started the subject half a year later than other students in my class.</font></p> <p><font color="#000000">Let me further explain in detail what is the meaning of this poem lines by lines</font></p> <p><font color="#000000"><strong><font color="#4f81bd">I seek a gift, Cruising along the ocean breeze,</font></strong><br>To me, Carol is like a gift for me. That’s why the moments that we can meet each other are very brief/short. But we still grow fonder like a kiss. Why like a kiss? I would like to wish my dear loved one Caroline Ng May Ling a very happy birthday. May your life will be filled with happiness and success and also me of course. <br />

So how you guys like my introduction? Decided to do something different as the mood of the blog is getting way too serious at times. Why not have a little fun and joke around right? Alright back to the topic, what do you guys think of Public Display of Affection?<br />
<a name='more'></a>Some people might think it is kinda cute and definitely sweet to see a couple showing affections towards one another publicly. It seems as though these couples wanted to the whole world to know how sweet they are with each other or how loving they can be. On the other hand, some might think it is gross and also they cannot stand the “geli-ness” running through their whole body.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOeMB8x71SI/AAAAAAAABpY/-SamXoZJxmA/s1600-h/epa1683l%5B3%5D.jpg"><img alt="epa1683l" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOeMDJWTkuI/AAAAAAAABpc/EvLNgJLBkaE/epa1683l_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-right: 0px; border-top: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="epa1683l" width="495" /></a><br />
<br />
To me, <span style="color: red;">PDA is ok WITHIN A LIMIT!</span> You can hold hands, hug your partner closely or may be a peck to the face or the most, lips. Well, actually I do that too I guess BUT NEVER EVER GET OVER THE LIMIT!! What do I mean by limit? Here’s several extreme PDA cases which I saw.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;">1. French Kissing</span><br />
It’s OK to have a peck but definitely NOT OK to french kiss in the public. I saw this couple before french kissing in the shopping mall and yes they are younger than me (<span style="color: red; font-size: x-small;"><em>saying their race out is sensitive too</em></span>). Come on, which part of the moaning and wet kisses do not yell “<strong><span style="color: red;">DO IT AT HOME</span></strong>” to you guys? Although each and everyone have their freedom but I’m not ok with this yet. May be I’m conservative as it might be common in Western countries.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;">2. Ass Grabbing</span><br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOeMEbanyCI/AAAAAAAABpg/YAAiJ2r2OIA/s1600-h/1590053412_cd5989ff96%5B3%5D.jpg"><img alt="1590053412_cd5989ff96" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOeMFXioLSI/AAAAAAAABpk/489LslT3q-U/1590053412_cd5989ff96_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-right: 0px; border-top: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="1590053412_cd5989ff96" width="323" /></a><br />
Ok seriously, this is very very VERY common nowadays. I’ve seen couples grabbing each other asses while walking from all different race. This definitely shouts “<span style="color: red;">Hey, people, look at us, we have sex with each other</span>”. Seriously, I wouldn’t need to ask if they are virgins but to me, I always assume if you are comfortable enough to touch your partner’s private area (<em><span style="font-size: x-small;">ass included</span></em>), you guys are having sex.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;">3. Declaring your love in mushiest way possible</span><br />
Saying I love you in public is ok. But getting too mushy and corny at each passing moments, seriously, even polar bears can died due to coldness and geli-ness. Even I can’t bear hearing these stuff and it happens once in a cinema. I’m there to watch a good movie not to listen to some over-exaggerated love drama between 2 people I have no interest in knowing or strangers.<br />
<br />
To me, PDA is ok but only within a certain limit. admit I do show my love and appreciation publicly but I have my limits. So what do you think about PDA and what are the most extreme PDA that you had seen/done before in your life?<br />
<br />

At least to me it is. You get to know people, people get to know you, people read about your thoughts, experience and connect with you. But nowadays, blog seems more like a trend than a mere hobby. Some bloggers blog with a set of guidelines created by others or popular bloggers. Then, some bloggers intend to elect themselves as “<font color="#ff0000">moral police of the blogosphere</font>”. That’s when blogging is no longer fun. At least to me.</p> <p> </p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOEIDcjGPKI/AAAAAAAABok/zkG3Dg7Bg0Q/s1600-h/how-to-blog-blackboard-classroom_id7%5B2%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="how-to-blog-blackboard-classroom_id785240_size485" border="0" alt="how-to-blog-blackboard-classroom_id785240_size485" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOEIEbK0P7I/AAAAAAAABoo/B_9EOVfRtYA/how-to-blog-blackboard-classroom_id7%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="637" height="484"></a></p> <p>When I said about these “moral polices”, I am referring to the bloggers to list out the do’s and don’ts of blogging. They criticize bloggers who do not blog up to their taste and said “blogs should be like this n this bla bla bla”. Seriously, this seems more like arrogance to me especially some of them are not even well known bloggers. (<em><font size="2">unless this is the reason why they wanna do this? To gain traffic and publicity</font></em>?)</p> <a name='more'></a> <p>I’ll admit. By doing this post, I’m being a huge hypocrite by criticising bloggers or should I say, by telling these “<font color="#ff0000">bloggers who kept telling people how or what a blog should be like</font>” on how an ethical blogger should be. Leave this page if you do not like what you are reading up till now as things going to be a lot more nasty.</p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOEIFSBqgDI/AAAAAAAABos/KGpVi_BUoPQ/s1600-h/to_blog_or_not_to_blog3.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="to_blog_or_not_to_blog" border="0" alt="to_blog_or_not_to_blog" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOEIGfPL3tI/AAAAAAAABow/BrV2-LiNCo0/to_blog_or_not_to_blog_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="644" height="459"></a></p> <p>The main point is, I can never understand why some bloggers will blog or tell people about how a blog should be like. And most of the contents are similar which are the following:</p> <p align="center"><font color="#ff0000"><font color="#4bacc6">1. Not too much words unless your words are interesting<br>2. More pictures<br>3. DuN TyPe LiKe A rEtArD wHiCh iS TyPinG LiKe ThiS<br>4. Don’t put music plug-ins</font><br></font></p> <p>The list goes on and differs for some bloggers but these 4 points are the most common ones. Being a blogger who types words more than inserting pictures, I was obviously taken aback. Not offended, mind you, because I was surprised <font color="#ff0000">since when blog had turned into website like Facebook</font>? </p> <p>I always thought blogs is evolved from being an online diary and not a photo album. Probably the information in Wikipedia regarding <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog">blogs</a> are feeding me with the wrong history? There are a lot of type of blogs out there right now such as photo blog, blogshop, personal blog, food blog etc. So why the limitations in style?</p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOEIHZApvBI/AAAAAAAABo0/6_bC9Z7Fy_Q/s1600-h/blog-board3.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="blog board" border="0" alt="blog board" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOEIIvVTHfI/AAAAAAAABo8/LMthlWP0Msk/blog-board_thumb1.jpg?imgmax=800" width="644" height="421"></a></p> <p>I always believe that every blogger has their own freedom in blogging in whatever style or ways they want. I do admit I dislike blogs that are too bimbo-ish or type like number “3”. But I never really criticise them or whatsoever. I just leave if I dislike their blog and live goes on. Why make a big fuss over it?</p> <p>The ONLY reason why people should blog accordingly to what other bloggers said, is to gain their attention and to become popular like Kenny Sia which AIN’T gonna happen if you blog accordingly to what other bloggers told u to. Why? Because you will only end up like the other bloggers and not Kenny Sia. There’s one thing I truly respect about Kenny Sia is not only because he blogs in his own way but he’s really humble. <a href="http://www.kennysia.com/archives/2010/07/celebrity.php">Read this post from him</a>. Telling bloggers on how to blog and how to appeal to other people is not teaching, is merely arrogance and thinking ownself as a good blogger.</p> <p> </p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOEIJDSn7NI/AAAAAAAABpA/nIL5SE7AV3Q/s1600-h/famous3.gif"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="famous" border="0" alt="famous" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOEIKKzx9ZI/AAAAAAAABpE/i_DqRDM3-18/famous_thumb1.gif?imgmax=800" width="407" height="484"></a></p> <p>There is no such thing as a good or bad blogger, just bloggers who understand the true meaning of blogging and bloggers who don’t. Let me ask you this question, are any of those famous bloggers like Kenny Sia, Xiaxue, Kenwooi or AkiraCeo ever follow others?</p> <p>When bloggers who said “<font color="#ff0000">Bloggers should not do this</font>”, “<font color="#ff0000">Bloggers who do this are idiots</font>”, <font color="#ff0000">Bloggers should not be like this</font>” etc, it directly shows that they are people who would not accept opinions of others easily and most of the time, think they are right. Which I would like to ask them this question. “ Can you define the term of an interesting blog precisely up to the reason why they are interesting, what so interesting and how many people actually find it interesting?”. Or in a shorter way, <strong><font color="#ff0000">“How do you measure how interesting a blog is in a quantitative way?”</font></strong></p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOEILt0N-KI/AAAAAAAABpI/70eiNcQGWfM/s1600-h/04-01_blogapp%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="04-01_blogapp" border="0" alt="04-01_blogapp" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TOEIM3K8tYI/AAAAAAAABpM/-I440eysbU4/04-01_blogapp_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="643" height="484"></a></p> <p>I’m not exactly a famous blogger and I know not much people read my blog but so what? I’m not really an attention seeker that desperately need to appeal to others and I don’t live to please others except for my loved ones. So how should a blog be? A blog should reflect the blogger himself/herself and not other bloggers. Be it a blogshop or a photoblog, blogs should reflect a blogger’s mind, interest and opinion. (<font size="2"><em>unless you are doing an ad which is a different case</em></font>)</p> <p>Why tell other bloggers how should they blog? Why tell other blogger what they should have and must not have in their blog? What makes these bloggers so full of themselves and elect themselves as the moral police in this blogosphere? <font color="#ff0000">They are not in some sort of blogging society that set blogging rules right?</font> Or the ISA of blogosphere?</p> <p>When a blogger come up to me and tell me how and what should I do to my blog, I’ll ask, what makes your blog so good that others should follow what you said? Having many readers or followers doesn’t mean you are a damn good blogger or the right one. There exist a time when people who thinks the Earth is round are consider crazy. Never make assumptions and be too full of yourself. <strong>The rule of becoming an ethical blogger.</strong></p> Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01882716212320514839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271878646099100048.post-69903191244899479732010-11-13T16:39:00.001+08:002010-11-13T16:39:31.402+08:00DiGi BlackBerry Torch 9800–Hotter And Smarter<p>I always have the cravings for a BlackBerry so when my favourite yellow-minded peep, DiGi that is and absolutely nothing indecent about it, come out with this chance for me to win a BlackBerry of mine, how can I miss it? When the question being asked is:</p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TN5Oaa2IcbI/AAAAAAAABnM/FmDSzi4AZD4/s1600-h/BlackBerry-Torch-Press-Ad%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="BlackBerry-Torch-Press-Ad" border="0" alt="BlackBerry-Torch-Press-Ad" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TN5ObSJLdEI/AAAAAAAABnQ/1mm6Kazqg0c/BlackBerry-Torch-Press-Ad_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="342" height="484"></a></p> <p>“Is it hotter or is it smarter? Tell us why you think the DiGi BlackBerry Torch 9800 is hotter or smarter.”</p> <p>I would like to answer this. Is it a little too much to say both hotter AND smarter? Here are my reasons why the Digi BlackBerry Torch 9800 is so much hotter and smarter!!</p> <a name='more'></a> <p><font color="#ff0000"><strong>Hotter Aspect #1</strong></font></p> <p>Seriously, guys. When we talk about BlackBerry users, we usually have a preconception that majority of BlackBerry users are those uncles or aunties who do not understand the wonderful technology of touch screen. Young people always dream about HTC or iPhone because of their touch screen which made their gadget much more elegant. In short, it’s <strong>HOT</strong> to have a keypad-less phone.</p> <p>BB Torch 9800 had join in the <strong>HOT</strong> category by having a full 3.2” touchable and functional screen! NOW using BB Torch can be seen as <font color="#333333"><strong>HOT and no longer uncle-ish</strong></font>. All thanks to DiGi for blessing BB users with the HOTness!</p> <p> </p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TN5OcQ680PI/AAAAAAAABnU/MsjsF3fVFaw/s1600-h/att_blackberry_torch_9800%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="att_blackberry_torch_9800" border="0" alt="att_blackberry_torch_9800" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TN5OdW36JbI/AAAAAAAABnY/x8KOhUF1fG4/att_blackberry_torch_9800_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="535" height="488"></a></p> <p><font color="#ff0000"><strong>Hotter Aspect #2</strong></font></p> <p>What is a BlackBerry without its signature QWERTY keypad? It’s <strong>HOT</strong> to use a touch screen but it’s PROFESSIONAL to use the QWERTY keypad. So is it TOO MUCH to ask for both in one? Apparently, not. Now having the HOT and PROFESSIONAL criterions, BB Torch users can DOUBLE their <strong>HOTness</strong>. </p> <p>Believe me when I say, I had difficulties in typing in touchscreen as I’m more used to “pressing” than “touching”. Especially with DiGi Smart Plan, the QWERTY keypad is a MUST for me to blog or send email on the go and anywhere! I do not need to wait to get back home to type on my keyboard, tenkiu! So TRIPLE the blogger <font color="#333333"><strong>HOTness</strong></font> coz I can blog anywhere from now on.</p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TN5Oet8GFTI/AAAAAAAABnc/Nj0Szz8gMj4/s1600-h/typo-1%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="typo-1" border="0" alt="typo-1" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TN5Of9wkf9I/AAAAAAAABng/EY8EtzqAI70/typo-1_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="641" height="484"></a></p> <p>(P/S: Touch screens just ain’t for blogging…tsk tsk tsk)</p> <p><font color="#ff0000"><strong>Hotter Aspect #3 #4 #5 etc etc</strong></font></p> <p>The GPS, the BlackBerry OS with all social network apps integrated such as Twitter, Facebook and Youtube, the 5.0 megapixel camera with flash, the SUPERB internet browser which is one of the main selling point of this phone and so much more! All to make the phone much <strong>HOTTER</strong> for the user.</p> <p><font color="#ff0000"><strong>Smarter Aspect #1</strong></font></p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TN5OgzgFUcI/AAAAAAAABnk/58MkV1JtYdE/s1600-h/BB-Torch-1%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="BB-Torch-1" border="0" alt="BB-Torch-1" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TN5Ohk55CdI/AAAAAAAABno/PyJAcUj15q8/BB-Torch-1_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="400" height="408"></a></p> <p>DiGi is offering a crazy deal for this BlackBerry Torch 9800. It’s a post titled <a href="http://leehuangshi.blogspot.com/2010/09/distance.html">Distance</a> regarding how me and <a href="http://carol-kath.blogspot.com/">Caroline</a> whom we never met before can end up getting together. This is another post quite similar to that but this time I’m gonna involve the rest of our blogging and twitter friends </p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TNlL281WUhI/AAAAAAAABmA/MZe8Upqw63g/s1600-h/77084_462253554472_661834472_5446735_5646531_n%5B7%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="77084_462253554472_661834472_5446735_5646531_n" border="0" alt="77084_462253554472_661834472_5446735_5646531_n" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TNlL4SPPHYI/AAAAAAAABmE/dedXjLiFS-s/77084_462253554472_661834472_5446735_5646531_n_thumb%5B5%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="644" height="484"></a></p> <p>First of all, I think we are the living proof of how technology can really make the world smaller. I think we can prove doubters that actual relationship resulted from the internet be it the friends kind or the lover kind, can really happen. </p> <a name='more'></a> <p>When most people tend to say you wouldn’t know the person you knew online really well and they might be out there to take advantage of you. I do agree to a certain degree but let me ask this instead. How sure can we be if we met a person in real life can be more trustworthy than our internet friends? We had seen betrayal even among friends and family members so why meeting a person is so important in building friendship? Unless you judge a book by its cover?</p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TNlL5oGfj5I/AAAAAAAABmI/2uwWbmb4_JE/s1600-h/IMG_5607%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="IMG_5607" border="0" alt="IMG_5607" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TNlL6nCShfI/AAAAAAAABmM/sr0kC-imPMg/IMG_5607_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p align="center">Grey Ang</p> <p>Let me start of with several bloggers that I first met. I’ll start with <a href="http://grey-ang.com">Grey Ang</a>. Among our gang, he’s the first I knew way back 2 years ago if I’m not mistaken but I just got to met him recently around August? At first, I was wondering would I be able to communicate with him at all? This is the first time I’m meeting someone from the internet world. Well, end of the day, I’m glad situation aren’t any awkward at all. Believe me, I feel much more comfortable compare to meeting my coursemates for the first time.</p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TNlL8BJOHvI/AAAAAAAABmQ/vo5Mw_oxplY/s1600-h/IMG_5501%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="IMG_5501" border="0" alt="IMG_5501" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TNlL9JR_4vI/AAAAAAAABmU/mE3MPPHj9Kc/IMG_5501_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="364" height="484"></a></p> <p align="center">Ethan, Merryn, Caroline</p> <p>Then, it’s <a href="http://submerryn.com">Merryn</a> I’m meeting next along with her family. well, the first meeting we didn’t talk much as she was busy with her booth. I bet everyone will be wondering how our first meeting was. Nothing short of spectacular. To tell the truth, the only thing that I’m worried about that she might be taller than me. But I’m relieved that I’m taller EVEN when there’s someone out there wanted to pull a prank on me by giving <a href="http://carol-kath.blogspot.com/">Carol</a> a 3 inches tall boots. FAIL ATTEMPT. I’m still slightly taller. XD</p> <p>Of course, I’m not so worried about communication with her. I guess after the experience of meeting the rest, I am quite confident that it would be the same for me and <a href="http://carol-kath.blogspot.com/">Caroline</a>. We will be much comfortable with each other very quickly. It didn’t take long for her to warm up enough to keep hitting me. It didn’t take long for us to hold hands or hold each other in our arms. Am I happy? Of course I am. Were things any different from our online bonding or telephone conversation? Yeah. Definitely very different. It is much better and much sweeter. So next time if anyone ask me how far are we. I’ll answer, we are physically a click a way, our heart is just side by side. (<em><font size="2">Pardon the moment of jiwangness, I just wanted whoever read this to tremble with geliness</font></em>)</p> <p>So that’s all for today. Sorry for missing out so long because I was very very busy with my job earlier on. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell them what happen to my job. We Need Help!!I come across many stories regarding how a relationship goes. What surprises me is that how modern guys had transformed in such a way that to them a relationship is based on materials. To them, chivalry is not dead, it just magically transformed into money and materials. So let me put up some comparisons between 3 different type of generations. And see if you readers agree with me regarding this matter.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;">Jurassic Generation Where Your Great Great Great Great Grandparents Lived</span><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLvcLZUnxhI/AAAAAAAABlc/0NMADj9bGn8/s1600-h/chinese-wedding-40722180030982%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="chinese-wedding-40722180030982" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLvcM0ri9kI/AAAAAAAABlg/QxK-wydvfQY/chinese-wedding-40722180030982_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="chinese-wedding-40722180030982" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">Flirting Stage</span><br />
Do not even exist – usually set up by parents or families or some by the rulers. True love rarely existed. Guys just sit down and let the parents do the dirty work.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<span style="color: blue;">Marriage/Relationship Stage</span><br />
Guy go work to earn enough for the family. No complaints as long as they can survive and divorce rarely happens because basically guy can get as many wives or concubines as they want and there’s nothing a woman can do about it. Woman just need to stay there and even if there’s no love, they couldn’t do anything about it.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">Closing Stage</span><br />
End of lives most of the time. There are some true love and bond exist but most of the time, the kids get the inheritance and non for the spouse.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;">Your Parents/ Grandparents Generation</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;"><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLvcNkD-_vI/AAAAAAAABlk/HM2ui52ROt4/s1600-h/happy-old-couple-for-web%5B8%5D.gif"><img alt="happy-old-couple-for-web" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLvcO_r0lcI/AAAAAAAABlo/-KSRj5B3hAA/happy-old-couple-for-web_thumb%5B6%5D.gif?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="happy-old-couple-for-web" width="375" /></a> </span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">Flirting Stage</span><br />
Matchmaking still exists but at minimal level. Guys will shower girls with sincerity, love and security. Not many of them are rich but they are still happy together.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">Marriage/Relationship Stage</span><br />
Together to build a stable relationship or family. Both parties work hard for each other and there are some financial worries but they gladly work together to have a good future together.<br />
<br />
However, those who get filthy rich and successful, Most of them have other mistresses and this usually happens to the guys.<br />
<br />
However, both still work hard to provide for the family. And having more than 1 partner is rare.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">Closing Stage</span><br />
There are divorces here and there but most of the relationship are pretty stable and there are a lot of loves going around. This is because they went through hard time together ensuring a good future for themselves. When any of them pass away, inheritance goes to the spouse and also the other children of the family.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;">The Current Generation</span><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLvcPun0JjI/AAAAAAAABls/xv79LZSfRZE/s1600-h/rhan540l%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="rhan540l" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLvcQzf7dVI/AAAAAAAABlw/PDC2-azvJI0/rhan540l_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="rhan540l" width="513" /></a> <br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">Flirting Stage</span><br />
Done in a much aggressive and frequent method especially since the existence of online social network. However, most people tend to flirt with more than 1 person and this implies to both guys and girls. A lot of guys started to use money usually given by their parents to buy expensive gift such as iPhone, camera, designer’s bag etc as part of a flirting “MUST DO”. In short, these people uses money as the main tool of the flirting technique. Money = Sincerity, Security,Care. Some resort to lies and deception and no matter how much they deny it, looks come first when it comes to choosing their partner be it guy or girl. Definitely less than half of the population actually got together through mutual love.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">Marriage/Relationship Stage</span><br />
Some people think money and sex the main thing to keep a relationship alive. Guys simply buying this and that as a way to say sorry instead of sincerely talking things out. Less than half of the population actually will talk things out sincerely. Guys thought by doing so, they can make up for everything and some even uses money to threaten their partner in the midst of arguments.<br />
<br />
Some girls will get jealous if their friends’ bf/husband bought their friends expensive gifts. And end up using that to argue and try to get something alike in return out of result of the argument.<br />
<br />
Having more than 1 partner is so common and until the stage where most of them thought there’s nothing wrong with cheating. Money still can settle it and money makes cheating possible.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">Closing Stage</span><br />
Some people changes partner as often as changing clothes. Divorce is so common and it also meant splitting wealth. Rare for a relationship to last long and until marriage and if it does, Most of them are good and everlasting (for those who didn’t use money as an excuse for everything) and also there are some adultery going on as well. But pretty much, closing stage is always ugly.<br />
<br />
From what I see is, The Current Generation is not as sincere anymore unlike the previous one. Somehow in a way, resembles the first generation. May be it’s a good thing to be poor or middle class? Everyone puts effort in making a relationship work? However, who can blame them? Since the world is getting so materialistic, it’s common for such thing to happen.<br />
<br />
<div align="center"><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLvcRhW7xaI/AAAAAAAABl0/E6rVn2yft6Y/s1600-h/68305_1591447498454_1003879649_1731540_1368642_n%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="68305_1591447498454_1003879649_1731540_1368642_n" border="0" height="244" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLvcSH3YxuI/AAAAAAAABl4/6rWHPTilSkU/68305_1591447498454_1003879649_1731540_1368642_n_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="68305_1591447498454_1003879649_1731540_1368642_n" width="173" /></a> Muahahaha curi your latest pic..</div><br />
However, may be I’m lucky for having <a href="http://carol-kath.blogspot.com/">Carol</a> in my live without having me to follow the current trend to be with her. I might be able to shower her with expensive gifts but a least I’m sincere to her. Heck, I don’t even have anything sweet to talk to her when I first like her. Sure there are some ups and downs in this relationship but I never been happier. Thank God for this gift for me and since it’s already the 3rd month we are together, I wish that we have a 3rd year anniversary 3rd generation anniversary and probably 3rd century anniversary. LOL May all the happy moments with her last and goes on forever. I love you. =)Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01882716212320514839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271878646099100048.post-60249329949491896882010-10-14T10:25:00.000+08:002010-10-14T10:25:51.651+08:00Efficiency Is Very Subjective.Hello all. I’m back. Finally I have some free time to blog. So I would just blog about efficiency in our country. As we can see, Malaysians can be very efficient to the extend that the leaders of our country praises us for being so efficient. We are so good with out time management, we even set our own “Malaysian Time” because others just couldn’t keep up with us. We are so far advance that we do not need fast internet connection or optic fibre connection to get connected to the world. We only need an over-priced snail speed connection to do so. Why? Coz we are moving too fast and we need something to slow us down so we can keep up with the world.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLZpUrtBj5I/AAAAAAAABk8/VJG19q9Bdbo/s1600-h/sran174l%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="sran174l" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLZpViy5qpI/AAAAAAAABlA/4TFDzeFIbIk/sran174l_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="sran174l" width="507" /></a> <br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Why do I say we are very efficient? Easy. Coz our Prime Minister say so la…. I bet most of you know about the Datuk Sosilawati murder case right? And that murder case was cracked in a short period of time while at the same time solving a few other “murder” and “disappearance” cases. Am I right? Our beloved PM was all praises for the efficiency our police force shows. <a href="http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2010/9/17/nation/7049787&sec=nation">He was saying this</a> and I quote,<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLZpWi7Av6I/AAAAAAAABlE/guwLbDxtMyc/s1600-h/datuk-sosilawati-lawiya-hilang-mati-dibunuh%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="datuk-sosilawati-lawiya-hilang-mati-dibunuh" border="0" height="469" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TLZpYXrMszI/AAAAAAAABlI/hdU0GkaODYo/datuk-sosilawati-lawiya-hilang-mati-dibunuh_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="datuk-sosilawati-lawiya-hilang-mati-dibunuh" width="644" /></a> <br />
<div align="center"><br />
</div><div align="center">“This success (of the police) is very encouraging. I congratulate the police force for having acted fast.”</div><br />
I seriously laugh out when I read another article regarding how <a href="http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2010/9/17/nation/7050530&sec=nation">police found another 20 remains at Sungai Panchau</a>. AM I THE ONLY ONE? Am I the only one who see this matter as the police FAILED to solved 20 plus murders before this? Am I the only one that think that the police can only solve this matter after 20 PLUS CRIMES that had been committed and yet this is call EFFICIENT?<br />
<br />
I learned 2 things from this incident.<br />
<br />
1. If you are not rich and famous in Malaysia, the police would not even bother to solve your case and just pile them up.<br />
<br />
2. Efficiency is very subjective to everyone. And if this is the pace of them solving crimes and murders? I would say it is equivalent to old people having sex. Slow and unprofessional.<br />
<br />
Another thing is our dear TM Streamyx which we all worshipped. Please take a look at how efficient the workers can be.<br />

I love this Doctor!<br />
<br />
Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life.Is this true?<br />
A: Your heart only good for so many beats, and that it... Don't waste on exercise. Everything wear out eventually. Speeding up heart not make you live longer; it like saying you extend life of car by driving faster. Want to live longer? Take nap.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?<br />
A: No, not at all. Wine made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that mean they take water out of fruity bit so you get even more of goodness that way. Beer also made of grain. Bottom up!<br />
<br />
Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?<br />
A: Well, if you have body and you have fat, your ratio one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio two to one, etc.<br />
<br />
Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?<br />
A: Can't think of single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No pain...good!<br />
<br />
Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?<br />
A: YOU NOT LISTENING! Food are fried these day in vegetable oil. In fact, they permeated by it. How could getting more vegetable be bad for you?!?<br />
<br />
Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?<br />
A: Definitely not! When you exercise muscle, it get bigger. You should only be doing sit-up if you want bigger stomach.<br />
<br />
Q: Is chocolate bad for me?<br />
A: Are you crazy ?!? HEL-LO-O!! Cocoa bean! Another vegetable! It best feel-good food around!<br />
<br />
Q: Is swimming good for your figure?<br />
A: If swimming good for your figure, explain whale to me..<br />
<br />
Q: Is getting in shape important for my lifestyle?<br />
A: Hey! 'Round' is shape!<br />
<br />
Well... I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.<br />
<br />
And remember:<br />
For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.<br />
<br />
1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.<br />
<br />
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.<br />
<br />
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.<br />
<br />
4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.<br />
<br />
5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.<br />
<br />
CONCLUSION:<br />
Eat and drink what you like.Speaking English is apparently what kills you.<br />
From now on, I’m not gonna speak english anymore. Wish me luck in dieting!! XDAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01882716212320514839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271878646099100048.post-91156712538885895582010-09-18T09:54:00.000+08:002010-09-18T09:54:58.413+08:00One Night At Jalan Bukit BintangBeen so busy with my work and didn't have much time to blog. Mind you, these are not only the questions being asked but definitely the MOST POPULAR ones.<br />
<br />
1. How you two met?<br />
<br />
2. Have you met her before?<br />
<br />
3. How is it possible when you two haven’t even met before?<br />
<br />
I too had been wondering regarding the question number 3. Honestly if you ask me now, I wouldn’t know how to answer. Probably I do not want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity? Probably I should give it a try and see how things will proceed later on? But that’s not the real purpose of this post. I ponder upon the question 3 for a long time and I came up with this.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TIcRQD5akXI/AAAAAAAABks/oZf7T0dSThY/s1600-h/long_distance_relationship%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="long_distance_relationship" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TIcRRRussxI/AAAAAAAABkw/ovvsUje0LSE/long_distance_relationship_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="long_distance_relationship" width="626" /></a> <br />
<br />
What forms an attraction between two individuals? What makes two individual falls in love with one another? Communication? Eye contact? Physical Contact? Or every single one of them? When people came and said that they find it hard to believe how two individuals only connected through the virtual world can together, I could not really answer them. I would definitely say, sometimes, things just happen. Which it is. But what makes that sort of thing to happen?<br />
<br />
When a guy chase after a girl, the physical beauty definitely came first for them. If you are a guy who initiate a move to ask a hot stranger for number or get to know her and try to chase her, please don’t give me bullshit that looks does not matter to you. What else would made you make a move for someone you don’t really know if not for their outer beauty? Is not as though their personality is written on their forehead or something right? The same goes for the girls who made a first move to get to know a guy. Either the guy is extremely good looking with hot bods or just plain rich. That’s how superficial the world is. That’s physical attraction for you guys.<br />
<br />
But when 2 individuals start to fall in love, physical outlook does not really matters anymore. The feelings and characteristic that come first. And how does all these are nurtured? Yes. Communication.<br />
<br />
It does not take physical contact such as kissing or sex to fall in love with someone. Those are just components to keep a relationship alive and passionate. It takes understanding, communication and mutual interest to start a relationship. This brings to question 3. How is it possible. The both of us chat through MSN, twitter, facebook, SMS and calls. Even webcam with each other. In short, communication is the main essence of our relationship. So I was wondering this.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TIcRSyBN8nI/AAAAAAAABk0/aW03-dD2Zv4/s1600-h/maintaining-long-distance-relationship%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="maintaining-long-distance-relationship" border="0" height="429" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TIcRUGuplkI/AAAAAAAABk4/3qzotF6IU3g/maintaining-long-distance-relationship_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="maintaining-long-distance-relationship" width="644" /></a> <br />
<div align="center"><br />
</div><div align="center"><span style="color: #0080ff;">Why is it any different with meeting up in real life and communicate?</span></div><br />
We too talked and see each other(webcam). So I guess that is why we can develop feelings? The same process that each and everyone had to go through before developing such mutual feelings. It is true that we lack physical contact and we might missed many things on ach other such as the way we act. But that will be much of a question of security rather than developing feelings right? It’s true that despite us looking sweet, we both feel quite insecure regarding each other.<br />
<br />
And it is usually I judge a person by his/her speech. Although action speaks louder than words but action does not really exclude speech right? Showing concern and care, does not have to be in physical contact or money. Being by someone’s side does not have to be standing right there cuddling or hugging. Sometimes, the moral support and words of encouragement meant as much. Be it to your family or lover. Especially going through an exam or task alone which means it is impossible to have the physical presence beside. Don’t get me wrong, if I can choose, I rather have her physical presence near me rather than far away. Of coz that will be a much better world for me.<br />
<br />
So my conclusion is this. Love can develop within such a long distance. But, the insecurity is definitely much greater than normal relationship I presume. Probably most people need to observe the other person’s characteristic before jumping in the conclusion to be together? But when things happen, they just happen. Probably this is not a satisfying answer to question 3 but I think it is the best that I could give you guys? May be future I could really answer you guys. LOL. But thanks for showing concern as I really appreciate it. =)Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01882716212320514839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271878646099100048.post-83436547113726067212010-08-30T21:57:00.000+08:002010-08-30T21:57:42.753+08:00Beef Hakka Noodle in IpohI just realized actually I had several food and restaurant to blog about but didn’t. So, I’m gonna blog about this Beef Hakka Noodle that I totally love. When Ipoh food comes into mind, we definitely cannot run away from anything associated with chickens. And I don’t mean prostitutes here if you are wondering, they are not food also by the way, well, err…may be…can say so…er NEVER MIND!! But actually there are a lot of other food pretty much unknown to people. So if you guys ever get to Ipoh, please NOT ONLY try the Ipoh Chicken and Beansprout Hor Fun or Rice, or the dim sum over here or the salted steamed chicken. If you guys are into beef, let me introduce you to this shop.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu3zb6I9kI/AAAAAAAABjw/WbAAQhrSePI/s1600-h/RIMG0008%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="RIMG0008" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu30j_QUpI/AAAAAAAABj0/12bSCaeaofw/RIMG0008_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="RIMG0008" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
The whole shop is ONLY selling Hakka Mee with Beef and also several Yong Tau Foo which we called it “liu” in Cantonese. Sorry I didn’t manage to capture the signboard of the restaurant as there isn’t any I think. Can’t remember why.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu31ovtsRI/AAAAAAAABj4/94kwuKrpudc/s1600-h/RIMG0006%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="RIMG0006" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu32mbzlRI/AAAAAAAABj8/hvojkO80Zt0/RIMG0006_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="RIMG0006" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
But don’t be afraid, it’s along THIS road. Go google or get a GPS to find out where exactly is this place in Ipoh. It’s along Jalan Bandar Timah and actually it is just BESIDE this junction and opposite this road sign. LOL<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu335AzWwI/AAAAAAAABkA/paSo_lEBSBk/s1600-h/RIMG0009%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="RIMG0009" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu342hSzuI/AAAAAAAABkE/yWm0b3PjpSQ/RIMG0009_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="RIMG0009" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
As you can see, the whole shop only sell one type of noodle here. Usually I came here early in the morning about 8. Because this is usually the first place me and my family stop when coming back to Ipoh early morning.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu36FQE4EI/AAAAAAAABkI/9r6-KpQcTws/s1600-h/RIMG0010%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="RIMG0010" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu3711NauI/AAAAAAAABkM/BxyOWVKV7Ww/RIMG0010_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="RIMG0010" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
The Hakka Noodle. The noodle is so chewy and the seasoning is just right. Usually once I had my first bite, I cannot wait to have another bite. It’s kinda dry actually and those who do not like their noodles to be dry, there are soup available.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu39JIgQCI/AAAAAAAABkQ/Z290-OPwMmc/s1600-h/RIMG0012%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="RIMG0012" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu3-XqjeCI/AAAAAAAABkY/tCerN7UBdCg/RIMG0012_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="RIMG0012" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
The meatballs, tofus and also cow tendon ball. I LOVE the cow tendon ball (black color). Actually I’m not sure is that a beef or pork ball, but the texture and taste is usually very much different from the normal meatball. If you don’t know how to order it, just point at the stupid black ball la. LOL<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu3_s8Zu4I/AAAAAAAABkc/4bAMDMlsJm0/s1600-h/RIMG0011%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="RIMG0011" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THu4BM-m73I/AAAAAAAABkg/DuzL4l-ShMM/RIMG0011_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="RIMG0011" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
And finally, my favourite of all, the beef soup. The seasoning for the soup is just nice and honestly, I can a few bowls of it if I want to. And the beef is sooooo nice to chew on and the texture is soooooo smooth. I never had any beef with such texture before. The beef I usually eat are a bit rough in texture and also slightly chewy. Eating this beef is like eating chicken thigh, soft, chewy and smooth. I had tried many beef noodle around in Johor, Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur but no beef can compare to this beef. The texture is just so different. I rate it 10/10 for this dish. And the price is actually quite cheap and reasonable as well. Don’t worry if I bullshit you about the price of this dish because usually I’m a cheapskate. And I won’t recommend expensive and food that only taste so so in my opinion.<br />
<br />
Ok, that’s all for now. Only a short post to keep my blog alive and also to introduce a very nice but unknown dish in Ipoh. Since most of my readers are from KL, so I guess they will know what to do on their visit to Ipoh. Till next time! Bye.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01882716212320514839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271878646099100048.post-87103887554187601802010-08-28T01:13:00.000+08:002010-08-28T01:13:31.868+08:00The Puan Hajah Siti DebacleFirst of all, I always refrain myself to make any racial statements in my post or any social networking sites. But for now, I’m gonna express freely my opinion regarding racism in this country. Hate me or love me for this, but this is just merely my views and opinions. If you don’t like it then it’s your problem and not mine.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THfxhxSX_EI/AAAAAAAABjg/5NvmPgz97Kg/s1600-h/46115_145217882175537_145217835508875_288378_1401487_n%5B5%5D.jpg"><img alt="46115_145217882175537_145217835508875_288378_1401487_n" border="0" height="151" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THfxivaK59I/AAAAAAAABjk/MG5q5Kn-Sd0/46115_145217882175537_145217835508875_288378_1401487_n_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="46115_145217882175537_145217835508875_288378_1401487_n" width="125" /></a> <br />
<br />
Have any of you guys heard about Puan Hajah Siti Inshah? The school principal who made racist remarks telling all Chinese students to go back to China? Even there are stories regarding how she refer to Indians wearing their religious beads are equivalent to dogs because only dogs wear beads around their neck? If you don’t know any of this, you can just google the story and I’ll save my time from retelling all these stuff.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
I would like to question this and I would like all my readers to answer me this question. I have a Malaysian IC and a Malaysian Passport, so does this mean I’m from and belong to China? I do not have a China’s ID or passport or even PR status, so IF my Malaysian identity documents doesn’t show that I’m a Malaysian, then I must be a county-less person? Is it being a Malaysian means YOU HAVE TO BE A MALAY? There are Malays all over the world as well such as Australia, United States of America, England etc, and what if they changes their citizenship? What if those foreign countries ask them to go back and they end up here in Malaysia? WILL THEY BE GRANTED IMMEDIATE CITIZENSHIP OF THIS COUNTRY BECAUSE THEY ARE MALAY? No they won’t. They too have to go by a certain set of rules before becoming a Malaysian. So I guess, they are consider as country-less people as well?<br />
<br />
Indians equivalent to dogs? I cannot even imagine how serious a racist is she if she really said that. Shouldn’t we respect others religion and culture? ISN’T THAT IN ISLAMIC TEACHINGS? Regardless how she might appear to be a pure Malay Muslim, I seriously doubt that she are well versed with the Islamic teachings. Isn’t this your fasting month, you should refrain from all the sins in the world? Why the hell would you even thought of such racist remarks? We don’t see the Indians or any races making fun of your tudung tradition? If we do, then will you be angered?<br />
<br />
I would like to question this statement as well. It was claimed that the statement was made by her and people are questioning it.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">SAYA BAWA KERETA PROTON SAGA. AH CHONG & MUTHU MENUMPANG DALAM KERETA SAYA. KAMI SAMA-SAMA MENUJU KE SATU DESTINASI.TETAPI ITU TIDAK MENJADIKAN AH CHONG & MUTHU MEMILIKI KERETA ...PROTON SAGA TERSEBUT KERANA SAYA TETAP PEMANDU</span><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THfxj6l3tpI/AAAAAAAABjo/f_IWAl0Rfv4/s1600-h/46036_142349409137191_142340952471370_186939_5616511_n%5B5%5D.jpg"><img alt="46036_142349409137191_142340952471370_186939_5616511_n" border="0" height="724" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THfxmC19-aI/AAAAAAAABjs/UabMyY6swvg/46036_142349409137191_142340952471370_186939_5616511_n_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="46036_142349409137191_142340952471370_186939_5616511_n" width="494" /></a> <br />
<br />
Racist or not? I’m not sure. But I can voice out several debatable points regarding this statement. <br />
Fine. You own the car. No doubt about it. But a car need constant servicing in order to keep moving and what if the cost of servicing and repairing the car which is part mostly by the other two guys and exceed the original value of the car? So the car still belongs to her? Ok. Then how about when the two of them stop contributing in servicing the car by jumping into another car. Would you say they betray you or what? I don’t think the other two ask for ownership of the car, they just ask for equal amount of air conditioned for everybody and not anything else.<br />
<br />
And what do she meant by “balik China”? What makes us different? Aren’t we all born here in this country? You don’t see me asking her to balik Indonesia right? (referring to Parameswara who came from Indonesia to Tanah Melaka). In other countries, there are difference between PR and full citizenship. Once a person is granted full citizenship in the country, no matter what race, they are given equal privileges and rights. Unfortunately, it’s not the case here.So even we are born here, we contributed to the country and we are STILL foreigners to her?<br />
<br />
Racism is very much alive here in this country. Especially the older generation which explains why the racial strategies are being heavily implemented in current politics. I will definitely blame these racist older generation if MY generation ends to be mostly racist. Why? Because there are very very few racists among us. Take a walk in Times Square, Mid Valley or KLCC, you can see young people from different races mixing with each other and it is not even a surprise that they DATE each other. Can someone really explain to me what is 1Malaysia? The more we talk about it, the more confuse I am with this concept.<br />
<br />
Am I feeling the Merdeka spirit? Hell no! It angers me even more that our nation had achieved independence so long ago and yet out mentality is going backwards instead of forward. Why would I feel happy for this Independence Day except it is a holiday? I don’t get it at all. Her being a headmistress should understand the importance of ethical conduct more than anyone else. For goodness, it’s her duty to implement these values among the students. This definitely reminds me of a MP from Kedah who made racial slurs and ask Chinese to go back to China.<br />
<br />
Now, Namewee, a notorious rapper in Malaysia had made a video in insulting Pn Siti Inshah and then Puteri UMNO presses for actions to be taken against him. If any action is to be taken on him, then the headmistress should be punished first before he do. Before I end my post, let me stressed out something. A lot of people had been debating regarding who fought and build this country and even ask to refer to the history textbook. May I know the group who went to discuss with the Brits, are they ONLY consists of one race? May I know who is the one help develop the country’s economy? And always remember, is your FOREFATHERS who fought for this country’s independence and not you. So why are you people saying as though you are the ones doing so back in 1950’s? Your task is suppose to continue building this nation and that what makes your a Malaysian. Even if your father/grandfather/great grandfather had fought and contributed a lot to this country, and all you ever did is brag and do nothing, you are still a piece of garbage.<br />
<br />
That’s all from me today. I got way too much political thoughts to blog about. If anyone of you have some topic for me to blog about. PLEASE feel free to say so. I’m running dry from ideas besides politics. LMAO XDAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01882716212320514839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271878646099100048.post-19772954409237895112010-08-22T22:01:00.000+08:002010-08-22T22:01:51.286+08:00A Day In My LifeI always wonder why people keep expecting me to be a very happening person. When I said I don’t club, I did went once earlier this year but that’s it, people find it hard to believe. I said I don’t really drink, in fact, I only had my first liquor last year at home which is only a glass of whisky, people find it hard to believe. I said I don’t smoke, people don’t believe.<br />
<br />
Once I was working in Anime Tech, Sunway Pyramid, a Malay girl from another shop came in to ask to borrow my lighter, I said I don’t have because I don’t smoke. The girl’s facial expression was like I just told her that I’m Johnny Depp and I’m actually her real actual birth father. She even TRIPLE confirm with me by asking me two times am I really bullshitting her. The whole shop was only me and her, who am I to impress over there? Her? This is a serious joke.<br />
<br />
So now, I’m gonna tell you guys exactly HOW NORMAL MY LATEST LIFE IS!!!<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEs0m1F9CI/AAAAAAAABio/CLdTHlQf0mE/s1600-h/Story-01%5B7%5D.jpg"><img alt="Print" border="0" height="483" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEs14rdTXI/AAAAAAAABis/krA6PWwouaA/Story-01_thumb%5B5%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="Print" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
Nowadays, since I got to work, I woke up as early as 5.55am. Reason is?<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEs69492jI/AAAAAAAABiw/Wg9PPvI7gfg/s1600-h/Story-02%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="Print" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEs7xfZnOI/AAAAAAAABi0/K3gzlH60vQg/Story-02_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="Print" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
Make a wake up call to my wifey!! XD LOL Actually I too wanted to go gym as well before work but sometimes my work had left me too tired to get my ass to the gym and work it out.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEtA-QImtI/AAAAAAAABi4/Ec2DqQ02ZeQ/s1600-h/Story-03%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="Print" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEtCR-GIHI/AAAAAAAABi8/jazN-DcfocQ/Story-03_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="Print" width="643" /></a> <br />
<br />
I’m not sure with you guys. Usually when I woke up and half asleep, I will adopt this so called praying and kneeling position. Doing that for like 15 minutes(if I never go gym) before finally waking up and wash up. Don’t ask if I purposely do this as a ritual. It’s just that I wanted to pull my body up but my efforts only left me at that position and I end up too lazy to move so I just remain that position.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEtDCzqqBI/AAAAAAAABjA/9VB6TWrUPKE/s1600-h/P8220075%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="P8220075" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEtEaOmUFI/AAAAAAAABjE/ZWjHEPYi0kg/P8220075_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="P8220075" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
Working time has always been hectic! But I always had time to chat with Carol. At least that will keep me awake and sane for the rest of the day. Don’t get me wrong, I kinda like my job despite being so hectic. But hey, that’s what a designer’s job usually are!! So chatting with her, facebooking and tweeting with the rest of the tweeps in twitter world had been making my job less boring!!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEtJ4n8JII/AAAAAAAABjI/E00DNr1VVYU/s1600-h/Story-05%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="Print" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEtLOp-m_I/AAAAAAAABjM/D0ojK9oUlhc/Story-05_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="Print" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
If I had to go through a day with doing all that, I will end up being like this before my working hours ended!! After go back, I just bathe, had my dinner and then resume talking online and blog hopping. Then youtube-ing as well. Then before I go to sleep, this is what I do.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEtPyjlqJI/AAAAAAAABjQ/WHOnF4U_x6Y/s1600-h/Story-06%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="Print" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEtRKgpREI/AAAAAAAABjU/xv3uBslawd0/Story-06_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="Print" width="643" /></a> <br />
<br />
DUH!!! Who else I’m gonna talk to but Carol on the phone before having my good night sleep. Oh. For the song? Need me explain? LOL<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEtVmlZOOI/AAAAAAAABjY/GyH1ft3Qh2I/s1600-h/Story-07%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="Print" border="0" height="483" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/THEtW1qn6sI/AAAAAAAABjc/IHyWHqqBd5E/Story-07_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="Print" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
But sometimes I’m getting too tired like last week, I tend to almost fell asleep while singing/talking. But I still manage to finish my task for now! XD Then I will hit the sack and go for my appointment with Grandfather Zhao.<br />
<br />
As you can see, there’s nothing exciting or interesting in my daily life routine. I do go out for yum cha or movies with friends but somehow these bunch of fellas won’t bother to call up for meet up BESIDES Soon Yee. And yeah, i know one of them are reading this AND YES, I’m talking about you guys. LOL. Although I do went for food hunt a lot but now not anymore. Let’s just say my interest is elsewhere right now. <br />
<br />
That’s all for my sien life right now. Till next time, I’ll resume my usual blogging style. Bye.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01882716212320514839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271878646099100048.post-56475057366758634972010-08-18T21:56:00.001+08:002010-08-18T22:11:29.853+08:00Reached The StarsMost of you guys already know and read <a href="http://carol-kath.blogspot.com/2010/08/happy-first-monthsary.html">this from Carol’s blog</a> that today is our first month-sary. So for this special occasion, may be I should blog about what I think of her and how different we both actually are? So here it goes.<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TGvl20tzitI/AAAAAAAABiU/-pn7ckhu0yk/s1600-h/39014_1495407697519_1003879649_1478960_7343582_n%5B3%5D.jpg"><img alt="39014_1495407697519_1003879649_1478960_7343582_n" border="0" height="244" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TGvl3z-Ik9I/AAAAAAAABiY/1Ng-gHxMMUQ/39014_1495407697519_1003879649_1478960_7343582_n_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="39014_1495407697519_1003879649_1478960_7343582_n" width="184" /></a> <br />
<br />
I guess most people tend to agree with me that she’s every guys’ dream girl? Pretty, smart, kind, loving, sweet, active, understanding etc etc. I personally think that even most girls would tend to agree with me that she’s all that? The amount of suitors she had is also unbelievable and I think it does judgement on her attractiveness in whole.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Me on the other hand? I’m never anyone’s dream guy to begin with which I think mainly due to my height issues. My personality can be somewhat annoying and I’m so good at pissing people off with my sarcasm and remarks, I can even make a fortune out of it. I’m very bold with my statements and I would care less on how many knife wounds your heart might suffer due to my bold remarks. However, that only happens when I strongly disagree with something or someone just kept annoying me.<br />
<br />
So in short, I’m like a devil at some point and she’s like an angel to almost everyone. Opposite attracts? I don’t know. What attracted me to her is actually that she NEVER for once thought of anything bad about me. I’m not kidding you when I say that majority people have bad first impression on me. And probably me being the few rare guys that talk to her without having any intentions of chasing or flirting her away. Her sincerity definitely is what initially got me interested in talking to her.<br />
<br />
To be frank, what really makes me fall for her is actually how sweet she can be towards me. Even during the times we are friends and both plain clueless that we actually likes each other as well. Despite me being in my best of annoying her by calling her Cabbit, she stills comes and talk to me and so on. I still remembered the time she first called me to cheer me up when I tweet that I “regretted something”. That time actually I was kinda surprised.<br />
<br />
Actually that time I wondered if she treats everyone the same way and which kinda hold me back awhile before confessing. She treats everyone that are nice to her equally nice and even nicer. She even treats those who are mean to her fairly nice. Me? I’m like a 20% extra kind of person. You treat me 100% nice, I’ll treat you 120% nice. You treat me 100% bad, I’ll treat you 120% worse. Which makes me such a bad enemy when I’m pissed. But she’s always nice, don’t you think? But don’t piss her off. You might regret it. XD<br />
She’s polite and I’m rude. She’s kinda innocent while I know every single possible thing in the “3 Words Bible” and I can’t make almost ANYTHING to sound dirty, a talent which made me considered trying stand-up comedy. She’s well organized in person while I’m on the wild side.She’s a perfectionist while I’m a not. I love her being so emotionally frank towards me as she show her love and care for me non stop and publicly! Me on the other hand, well, I leave that to you guys to judge.<br />
<br />
<br />
However, despite all the differences, we share a lot of things in common as well. This actually makes me more drawn to her. Her attitude and appearance do not do justice to her maturity level. She’s very understanding and what I respect about her the most is she’s very clear of herself. She knows her own weakness well which something that very few people are capable of. I guess the post is getting too long for reading comfort. Shall keep more for next time!! XD<br />

If you guys have not read that article before, here’s the <a href="http://bangmalaysia.wordpress.com/2009/09/11/tunku-abdul-rahmans-great-granddaughter-speaks-up/">LINK</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://photos1.blogger.com/img/22/3041/320/rtw1.1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/img/22/3041/320/rtw1.1.jpg" /></a></div><br />
<br />
If you guys had read it, what do you guys think? Very good? Wish that all Malaysian youth would think that way? Or plain utter meaningless rubbish? Whatever your opinion might be, I on the other hand think it is brilliant but yet debatable at some point. But that’s a different story from what I’m gonna blog about today. What caught my attention from this article is not what Sharyn said but it is actually the attention she’s getting from it especially from the older generation of Malaysia. Why? Here’s why.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
First of all, when the adults claim that Sharyn is one of the rare few true Anak Malaysia, I am not sure to laugh or cry at their ignorance regarding our generation. Don't get me wrong.<span style="color: red;"> I do not anti her and in fact, I love what she wrote as well.</span> Since Sharyn is 24, so I will categorized the so called “Malaysian Youth” in question here to be below 30’s. With all due respect to Sharyn, I seriously think that the main reason she got such a well received attention from the adults is due to her being in the media field and also being the great granddaughter of Tunku Abdul Rahman. I mean seriously, if any normal 24 year old blog or write about this, would we be aware of it? If there is a secondary school student who wrote about this in school, would we be aware of it? The answer is no.<br />
<br />
As you can see, the eyes of the society can be so superficial at times till the point of neglecting the minor details. When someone say "Don't mind the small details" then they are an example of people who are plain ignorant of the fact that they are actually quite ignorant. Would you accept it if your son came to you and say he get low score for his exam and he just simply blurted out "Don't mind the small details"? Or a court case without enough evidence, can we prosecute the accused? Just face it people, everything is made up of SMALL DETAILS and if anyone come to me and say "Don't mind the small details", I will definitely go to his/her car and removed the steering wheel since it is such a small piece compare to the size of a car.<br />
<br />
Before I get way too far from my topic, I personally think that majority of the adults in Malaysia are quite ignorant of the fact that the Malaysian youth are no longer ignorant and stupid. As you can see from our last general election, there are a significant increase in new voters and this shows that the youth are already paying attention to the country. I can simply name several bloggers who are either as outspoken and intelligent as Sharyn or even better than her but yet, they did not get as much attention as Sharyn does.<br />
<br />
To me, the younger generation of this nation is definitely progressing but the older generation do not exactly take us seriously enough. Look at UMNO Youth, MCA Youth etc etc. Their leaders are mainly old uncles or aunties at the age of about 40 plus. We cannot blame the younger generation to not be interested in politics since even the so called YOUTH division are monopolized by middle-aged people. Why do we even need to train leaders when they SHOULD be ready to be leaders? Why do the younger generation often being neglected? Does improving the education system or debating about the usage or BM or English really help to build the younger generation? When do MY generation will get a shot of utilizing our leadership skills? When we hit 40? So we use our remaining 20 years to keep monitoring how our nation might slumped and had nothing we can do about it?<br />
<br />
Talking about cultivating 1Malaysia concept among the Malaysian youth. Honestly and seriously, I do not think the most Malaysia youth need that sort of cultivation among us. I think the ones that need to learn about the concept 1Malaysia are politicians who kept using racial motives in political strategy. We youth are more united than they think. I had seen Malays mixing with Chinese and Indians for basketball games. I had seen youngsters from different races sitting together in mamak stalls talking happily and there are not a single hint of racism among them. The thought of discussing how each race differ from one another never crosses our mind UNLESS we read it from the news when a politician came to talk about it. Honestly, the Malaysian youth are quite tired of how most adults are ignorant towards our ability and mindset. If we end up being much race cautious, I'll be frank that I personally think that certain adults should be blamed for that.<br />

<br />
Saw the video above? This minister is rendered speechless by a student's question. Can any of you notice how capable are the youth of the world today? Let me sum it up. The ones that are able to capture the hearts of this group, are the ones going to win big in the next general election. Things aren't looking too good for BN at the moment. Hmmm...<br />
<br />
P/S: Everything on this post is merely my personal opinion and I mean no direct insult to any party or person in particular. If you are offended by this post, it shows that I am right on the dot on most case which I assume that you must be an adult who are ignorant to us younger generation. Anyway, sorry for the lack of updates. From this post onwards, I'll be active in blogging once again.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01882716212320514839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271878646099100048.post-20638244070671195122010-07-26T03:28:00.001+08:002010-07-26T16:32:42.808+08:00Mirror and ShadowThought of doing another post first but I go ahead with this post as I felt inspired to blog about this. Do you ever realized that in our lives, that there will be two type of people that will be extremely closed to you? I do realize that and in fact, I believed it happens to most people I knew even without them realizing it. I’m not sure whether I’m correct or not but this is definitely what I think it is. I call them the Mirror and the Shadow.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEyOaIH7TvI/AAAAAAAABh0/3A3BF6lNRvc/s1600-h/midc_cover%5B5%5D.jpg"><img alt="midc_cover" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEyOcC1761I/AAAAAAAABh4/exwOsjK5L-Y/midc_cover_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="midc_cover" width="484" /></a> <br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;"><b>The Mirror</b></span><br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEyOc99KemI/AAAAAAAABh8/-5kXPrULuQg/s1600-h/406150121_2b571a4ad0%5B8%5D.jpg"><img alt="406150121_2b571a4ad0" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEyOd-rFk7I/AAAAAAAABiA/PVIIiisbwgY/406150121_2b571a4ad0_thumb%5B4%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="406150121_2b571a4ad0" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
It’s more like an mirror image of us. it can be your family, friend or lover. But you two have so much in common, it feels that you are his/her duplicate or mirror image. I think it is a mirror image because it shows what you are. it shows what you possess and what you project to everyone. It reflects what you want people to see and what people see in you. Having a friend/lover like your mirror image, you guys share the same passion, interest, thoughts and everything else that matters.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;"><b>The Shadow</b></span><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEyOfKpQJ7I/AAAAAAAABiE/E18frt1R7_Y/s1600-h/silhouette-9%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="silhouette-9" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEyOgR17SKI/AAAAAAAABiI/dNdLYGp4c9M/silhouette-9_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="silhouette-9" width="325" /></a> <br />
<br />
To me, a shadow is like a hidden or lost part of you. Since shadow is black and featureless, to me, it represents what that couldn’t be seen by others. It could be what you do not want others to see or what you had forgotten about yourself. We do have someone important in our lives who has a total opposite character from us right? Despite so many differences, we can’t seem to get ourselves away from them and find it that each time we tries, we eventually went back to them?<br />
<br />
So I guess this had definitely provoke some thoughts within and let you guys wondering which type do your lover or best friend belongs to? They can be both at the same time but I think it is very rare for that to happen. I’m talking about personality and character and not interest here.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;"><b>My Shadow</b></span><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEyOhAaNsmI/AAAAAAAABiM/XekeVMi3TZ0/s1600-h/DSC_0563%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="DSC_0563" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEyOiarfqeI/AAAAAAAABiQ/9TJmbvax_mY/DSC_0563_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="DSC_0563" width="326" /></a> <br />
<br />
Recently, I encountered my shadow. I guess most of you guys know who am I talking about. Yes, it is <a href="http://carol-kath.blogspot.com/">Caroline</a>. To be honest, she is a complete opposite of me. If the both of us are in a fairy tale, she would be the fairy godmother and I’ll be the devil or witch. And to be honest again, I tried to avoid falling for her when I started to develop some feelings due to reasons only known to me and her. And to be honest again, i never ever thought of being end up with her or even have a beginning with her. I only treated her like a close friend of mine and at most like a sister. But it’s funny how things tend to go against us in life right?<br />
<br />
I never refrained myself for getting involved with someone so much before. When I started to give in and decided to confess, to tell the truth, I wasn’t hoping for anything but rejection. In fact, I would welcome a rejection as it would put me into much ease with the guilt. However, she caught me completely off guard when she told me she felt the same. I was confused, scared, happy and shocked at the same time. Confused of what to do next, scared of what will happen in the future or my bad history to repeat itself, happy and shocked because…well…I need not to elaborate on that. But after some considerations, I realized I do not want to give up on an opportunity. I would not want to spend my future regretting for not making the best out of it. And hence, here we are. I never regretted that decision I made and I hope she won’t regret it as well.<br />
<br />
As happy as I can be, but I’m also equally worried. I have a lot of “Shadows” in my life and very few “Mirrors”. Which explains why I initially wished for a “Mirror” to be my one. All the shadows I met, are close to me as I provide them views that are totally opposite to theirs and it helps them to look clearly ahead in life. However, Carol has not been the same. I offer her help and advice when she asked for it and I never expect anything in return from her. Probably the only thing I expect from her is only her friendship like how the other shadows are. I did not think that she understand me well enough because she’s not my mirror.<br />
<br />
I wanted a mirror in my life for several reasons. I can have someone I can relate to and someone that would share the same views with me towards everything. However, Carol made me realize one thing that only a Shadow of me can provide. A Shadow that will make me realize that there is light. A mirror reflects the light in your life away while a shadow could only exist if a light source is present.<br />
<br />
Her kindness and laughter made me realize that there are more things to look forward to in life. I’m bitter and lonely within actually and she make me realize there’s no need to keep to myself. I never really started a conversation with her last time but she kept looking for me for company made me happy. the next thing i know, i couldn’t stop talking to her. As funny as this shadow can be, she is also my light source and keeps reminding me that there are someone that actually would talk to me and made me happy without asking for anything in return or being asked to. I’m pretty sure she does this to everyone but I never had anyone quite like her in my life.<br />
<br />
I never really tell her all this much I guess because she didn’t ask me to and I am quite shy actually contrary to what most might think. To be honest, I really do not know what does she see in me. I’m not ridiculously good looking or rich. I do not think I’m a good boyfriend either because if I am one good bf, why would my ex dump me for a jerk? I do not think I could provide the safety she need and I definitely do not think I am financially able to support her for now. Trust me, these are important. And I can’t help but to compare myself to the guys that had been in her life or still hanging around her. Because logically, I should be last in her list. Because I’m rude, as in curse a lot, which is something she really hates. More often than not, I offend people with my blog and words. And I am never the type that would pass much compliment to a lady and in fact, the both of us argue a lot when we are friends. I can just be myself and make her laugh, something which I do to everyone and also I think one of the most basic rule in flirting. But trust me, I never ever flirt with her when we are friends. You can ask her. Probably I only flirt with her by telling her my honest opinion and care for her.<br />
<br />
However, somehow good things come unexpected. I’m happy with her and in fact very happy. I am actually capable of smiling and laughing together with her all the time. Honestly, being with her, is the only time I truly felt loved and appreciated. Even in my past, I never felt like that before. Probably because she is the only one who is not afraid of letting people know about us and did not for once judge me by my looks. I’m sick of people developing pre-assumptions of me which are wrong most of the time and she’s the only one so far that rarely judges me. She did a lot of sweet stuff and surprises to melt my heart. Despite having a tough exterior, I’m a total sucker for gf to be that sweet. Let’s just say she made me her love her so much in such a short period of time. There are a lot of things that makes me fall for her but I guess I’ll keep that as a little secret between me and her. Thanks for loving me and I love you as well. Hope you are happy with me. I might not be perfect for you but I’ll try my best for you. Definitely.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01882716212320514839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271878646099100048.post-2286934349832532562010-07-18T23:09:00.001+08:002010-07-19T12:28:35.361+08:00What I Would Like To Do In MyanmarI’m a city boy. I mean, basically, I grew up in a city and due to financial problems, I rarely have any opportunity to travel when I’m in secondary or primary school. The furthest I travelled to is to Johor Bahru to further my studies in a local university. However, during that time, I did not develop much passion for travelling as I still lived in my own well. However, my design courses and also my first trip to Singapore late last year, had definitely open up a whole new dimension within myself. <span style="color: red;">I simply love travelling</span>. After seeing <a href="http://blog.airasia.com/index.php/blog-your-way-to-yangon">this contest by AirAsia</a>, I know that I have to try out this opportunity.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMWZjb-VbI/AAAAAAAABgU/SWs1ToKypUI/s1600-h/31093_436220197386_18801397386_6286423_2511513_n%5B8%5D.jpg"><img alt="31093_436220197386_18801397386_6286423_2511513_n" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMWbH1mD7I/AAAAAAAABgY/a5wr5oO02uc/31093_436220197386_18801397386_6286423_2511513_n_thumb%5B6%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="31093_436220197386_18801397386_6286423_2511513_n" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
<br />
So the contest wanted me to blog about what I would like to do in Myanmar. To be honest, I know absolutely nothing about Myanmar besides they have a lot of pagodas over there. As I researches on, I found out that there are a lot more to Myanmar than I would have ever imagined. <span style="color: red;">Here are the list of things that </span><strike style="color: red;">I would like to</strike><span style="color: red;"> MUST do in Myanmar.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;"><b>1. Visit the Shwedagon Pagoda and take lots of lots of pictures of it</b></span><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMWctD2tcI/AAAAAAAABgc/zUfxVZJSoZE/s1600-h/31093_436219817386_18801397386_6286390_1272723_n%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="31093_436219817386_18801397386_6286390_1272723_n" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMWeNZ0TvI/AAAAAAAABgg/c3r-Cvwq3Hg/31093_436219817386_18801397386_6286390_1272723_n_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="31093_436219817386_18801397386_6286390_1272723_n" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
My design course had develop a sense of curiosity within me. I wanted to see everything and understand everything myself. It is without a doubt that the golden Shwedagon Pagoda is one of the wonders of the world. I wanted to go over there myself to appreciate the beauty of its architecture and also an avid photographer(<span style="color: red;">although doesn’t seem like one</span>), I wanted to capture its beauty with my camera. I never personally seen a pagoda up-close before and what’s more if it’s a golden pagoda. The only pagodas I’ve seen are from comics and also Pagoda Groundnuts.<br />
<br />
So this spot is a must visit for me to fulfill my curiosity towards its beautiful architecture and also my fetish for photography. Besides that, it is 2500 years old and I definitely had not encountered anything as old as that. Imagine getting in touch with a building that had seen it all for 25 centuries. How do they even build this pagoda back in the olden days. Look at it’s perfectly symmetrical bell-shaped dome. Given the technology we have today, it is also a very difficult task to accomplish. So, topping my list of things I want to do in Myanmar, is paying a visit to this golden thing of beauty.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: red;">Quick Fact about Shwedagon Pagoda : Queen Shin Saw Pu, grand daughter of King Banya Yu(AD 1353-1385) donated gold equal to her weight to have the pagoda gilded and the tradition is uphold by her descendants until the bel was stolen by Filipe de Brittoe </div><div style="color: red;"><br />
</div><span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;"><b> 2. Bagan exploration</b></span><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMWfkFjuCI/AAAAAAAABgk/sEcLb5kZ09s/s1600-h/28623_436222597386_18801397386_6286474_3614861_n%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="28623_436222597386_18801397386_6286474_3614861_n" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMWhcgeMMI/AAAAAAAABgo/MNcqVlh0lmk/28623_436222597386_18801397386_6286474_3614861_n_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="28623_436222597386_18801397386_6286474_3614861_n" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
More and more pagodas and wonderful architecture of Myanmar. Enough said. I’m a sucker for things like these because I’m bored seeing typical office buildings and also houses. HELLO!! I live in Subang Jaya, one of the most populated city in Malaysia. Wouldn’t you be bored seeing the same ol’ type of buildings? Furthermore, I’m seeing buildings dated way back in the 11th and 12th century as I’m sick of seeing buildings built in 21st century. Even a lot of buildings built in 20th century are no longer to be seen or overshadowed. Civilization is progressing at such a rapid speed and I’m gonna have a look at all these temples, pagodas and stupas before modern civilization took over the entire Bagan. We’ll never know right?<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;">3. Food, food, food and FOOOOODDDDDDD</span></b><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMWif1h0dI/AAAAAAAABgs/cjA7AL8PcVE/s1600-h/food_snack1%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="food_snack1" border="0" height="437" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMWjsJKW0I/AAAAAAAABgw/WfdneojfHcE/food_snack1_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="food_snack1" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
You can never EVER claimed you been to a place if you haven’t tried their local cuisine. I am a typical Malaysian. It means I’m a food lover and a total sucker for good food. I’ve tried some Myanmar dishes here in Malaysia and I am not impressed at all. It’s time for Myanmar to prove her worth to me by trying their AUTHENTIC local cuisine. And to be honest, the first thing I landed in Taiwan and Singapore last year, all I could think of is where the heck is all the good food. It cannot be any different if I landed on Myanmar. And being typical Chinese, I love rice. Since the Myanmar citizens' diet are 75% compromises of rice, it ain’t gonna get any better for me I assure you.<br />
<br />

<br />
Even the desserts are made of rice. LOL. Ok. I’m hungry now. Hurry off with this post to get some supper.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;">4. Bring out the child in me. Handmade toys</span></b><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMWuTHp4uI/AAAAAAAABhU/_vDYziVM1RQ/s1600-h/toys1%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="toys1" border="0" height="436" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMWv7HO-xI/AAAAAAAABhY/jc4_cvsSZdk/toys1_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="toys1" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
Handmade toys anyone? Our own Malaysia have congkak, gasing, wau and so on so on. Looks like Myanmar have their own handmade toys as well. These will be on top of my shopping list. When I buy souvenirs back, it’s definitely not gonna be keychains or a T-Shirt screaming “I Love Myanmar” or “Myanmar”. Seriously, those gifts are overrated. I prefer gifts that have a story behind where I can tell and describe to everyone. It will bring back fond memories of Myanmar. Seeing some T-shirt claiming “I Love Myanmar” won’t do me any good. I love toys as well. So I’m gonna hunt for some toys. FOR SURE.<br />
<br />

<br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: medium;"><b>5. Observing the culture of Myanmar</b></span><br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMW0bMqdmI/AAAAAAAABhk/C8T7pXSMS64/s1600-h/28623_436222572386_18801397386_6286472_3419578_n%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="28623_436222572386_18801397386_6286472_3419578_n" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMW1_TANDI/AAAAAAAABho/GqzekCzABhU/28623_436222572386_18801397386_6286472_3419578_n_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="28623_436222572386_18801397386_6286472_3419578_n" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
As you guys can see from my blog, I do a lot of observations in my life. It had become a part of me and curiosity gets the better of me all the time. I like to compare the people over here in Malaysia and the people in other countries. For example, how Singaporean drivers are actually very nice especially the taxi drivers. How good is the government in implying OKU-friendly environment throughout the whole country. Or how Taiwanese motorcyclists think they own the roads and make up is a necessary piece of clothing. I wonder how Myanmar could be and me being a street photography lover, this is also a good chance for me to capture the people of Myanmar. Another photography fetish is fulfilled.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMW3hJ7KlI/AAAAAAAABhs/sMLp1ikJzS8/s1600-h/31093_436221287386_18801397386_6286448_5354858_n%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="31093_436221287386_18801397386_6286448_5354858_n" border="0" height="484" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AHdxepawsq4/TEMW5htl0HI/AAAAAAAABhw/lbLwHFJfE8g/31093_436221287386_18801397386_6286448_5354858_n_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="31093_436221287386_18801397386_6286448_5354858_n" width="644" /></a> <br />
<br />
I would like to see the lifestyle of the people over there especially in the countryside. Growing up in a city had not given me the privilege to observe situations like these. Besides that, I fancy staying in these places to get a feel of it. I wonder how living their lifestyle would be like. No doubt that I’ll mess it all up as I’m much too pampered<br />
<br />
That’s all for today. These are the things I would like to do in Myanmar and if you guys are wondering, it is for this contest organized by AirAsia Blog Your Way To Yangon. All pictures are courtesy from <a href="http://blog.airasia.com/index.php/blog-your-way-to-yangon">AirAsia’s Facebook</a> and <a href="http://www.myanmar.com/index.html">Myanmar.com</a><br />

<div><span style="font-family: Calibri;">I want to win a free flight to Yangon because I love traveling but do not have the appropriate financial capability to do so often. Usually a vacation for me is planned at least a year before to save up enough to go for the vacation. Winning a free flight ticket will ease the burden a lot for me to fulfill my passion. My dream is to travel around the world and capture the beauty of this world through photography and I hope this small step can be achieved by winning this contest from AirAsia. Help me realized my dream AirAsia. I'll blog about my experience and express my gratitude for you in my blog.
